Tomislav Krhen

About

Dr. Tomislav Krhen graduated in 2010 on University of Zagreb, School of Dental Medicine in Zagreb, Croatia. After graduation, he enrolled in Specialist postgraduate 2-year programme which he successfully finished in 2015. During his surgical residency, he is awarded an ITI Scholarship, 1-year postgraduate curriculum for further improvement in oral surgery and implantology. From 2014-2015 he worked at the surgical department of Universitätsklinikum Bonn on Friedrich-Wilhelms-University in Bonn, Germany. After returning back to Croatia, he finished his surgical residency in Zagreb.

During scholarship in Bonn, he intensively dedicated his time for professional development and training in various courses. Areas of interest include bone augmentation, soft tissue surgery of peri-implant tissues, and treatment of peri-implantitis. From 2018 he works at Dental Polyclinic Zagreb on the Department of oral surgery. He is a member of an International Team for Implantology (ITI), European Association for Osseointegration (EAO), Straumann Young Professional programme (Straumann YPP) and Croatian Society of Dental Implantology (HDDI).

cerabone® Plus – Hyaluronate meets Xenograft
Indications, Techniques and Clinical Applications

This hands-on workshop should provide the participants some insights into the novel bone graft from botiss, cerabone® plus; a powerful combination of already proven, premium quality xenograft infused with the regenerative capacity of the hyaluronic acid for the enhancement of wound healing properties.
Theoretical part of this workshop will introduce the participants with the indication matrix, biological properties and rationale behind regenerative and reconstructive procedures using cerabone® plus. The hands-on part of the workshop will demonstrate the improved handling capabilities of this new grafting material with it’s sticky and malleable properties for everyday practical clinical use.
