Lecture
Let’s start with the final solution: How to connect Smile Design with interdisciplinary smile rehabilitation
Today, aesthetics are given exceptionally high importance in all areas of life. The impact of a smile on self-confidence, personal, and professional quality of life is well-known. The success of oral rehabilitation does not only depend on meeting biological and functional aspects, but the aesthetic result is placed first. The best way to achieve highly aesthetic results in complex interdisciplinary rehabilitations is thorough 3D planning focusing on the face as a whole. How to overcome the main challenges in smile rehabilitation and how important is smile design? How to integrate smile design and orofacial principles that we must master in the rehabilitation of multidisciplinary cases? Why is it important to focus on the entire face when planning therapy, and how does modern technology help us achieve a natural-looking final result regardless of whether it is the rehabilitation of fully dentate jaws, partial, or complete edentulism?
The lecture will show the possibilities and significance of modern comprehensive dentistry, the trends and benefits in everyday practice, and why it is necessary to apply these principles. How to achieve predictable, faster, and more efficient execution of smile rehabilitation using digital solutions in the planning, surgical, and prosthetic phases, with an emphasis on implantological solutions.
