Implants in the Aesthetic Area: Prosthetic Perspectives, Digital Workflow and Decision-Making

Delivering successful outcomes in the aesthetic area demands a clear understanding of multiple factors, from post-extraction socket biology to precise selection of prosthetic components. This lecture will provide a comprehensive guide, from the surgical, digital planning protocols and the restorative aspects of the treatment.

Covering a spectrum of topics, the lecture will provide indispensable knowledge on immediate and delayed placement protocols, hard and soft tissue augmentation techniques, and a clear decision-making framework tailored for the restorative aspect of the treatment, from the temporary to the definitive restoration.

Key points:
• Exploring immediate and delayed placement protocols for tooth replacements in the aesthetic zone.
• Understanding the importance of hard and soft tissue augmentation for achieving optimal aesthetic outcomes.
• Decision-making and selection of prosthetic components
• Understanding the importance of the provisional restoration and how to transition from the provisional to the final implant restoration

Workshop

Predictable Immediate Implants through Digital Workflow and Soft Tissue Management

The hands-on session offers a practical, simulation‑based experience designed to integrate all concepts covered throughout the digital implant workflow. Using an anatomical model and a fully adapted surgical guide, participants will work through the key steps of immediate implant therapy in the esthetic zone, combining surgical execution with provisional and soft‑tissue considerations.

During the session, clinicians will practice essential skills such as immediate implant placement, hard‑ and soft‑tissue management, and provisionalization on a model designed to replicate real clinical scenarios.

By progressing through this coordinated sequence, participants will develop confidence in performing guided implant placement, managing peri‑implant tissues, and integrating provisional restorations as part of a comprehensive, esthetically focused treatment workflow.
